Overview

The IT/Tech Recruiter will concentrate on attracting top talent in support of departments which are focused on IT, Ecommerce and Shared Services.  This individual will partner with Hiring Managers across all of URBN’s brands, including Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, and Nuuly.  The Recruiter must have an extensive network and keen assessment skills that permit them to work on a wide variety of positions at all levels with a concentration in Dev/Engineering talent.

 

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate kick off meetings with Hiring Managers in order to gather requisition requirements, establish cadence for communication through the process, and determine ideal candidate profile

  • Proactively source and develop candidate pipelines for open positions and proactive roles

  • Assess candidate skill sets and compensation expectations against open job requisitions

  • Send candidate briefs to Hiring Managers to provide background for consideration and understanding of the Talent Marketplace

  • Build and identify networks through industry groups and contacts, association memberships, and current employees to identify qualified candidates and expand the digital talent pipeline.

  • Meet with hiring managers on a quarterly basis to solicit feedback on recruitment process and communication

  • Navigate complex offers and guide and influence both hiring managers and candidates

  • Maintain accurate reporting and fully utilize the Applicant Tracking Systems

  • Analyze hiring data and present meaningful “messages” to Hiring Managers and Departments

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience with a track record of handling full life cycle IT/Technology recruiting

  • 5+ years of experience directly partnering with all levels of Hiring Managers.

  • Experience utilizing directories, contact lists, ATS, databases, leads, personal networking, websites, search engines, job fairs, college and training, etc.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Recruitment agency experience preferred

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Travel

Some travel required.
