2 / Senior Account Director, New York City
Your role
You will be responsible for driving proactive communications programs for Hunt & Gather clients with a focus on public relations campaigns & initiatives, and brand positioning.
Your responsibilities
» Support your Vice President in developing, managing and executing communications strategies
» Build a relationship with key clients to start to position yourself as the first point of call for requests and questions
» Lead key points of the agenda in client meetings
» Take the lead in drafting new proposals, budgets and timelines
» Conceive of creative ideas to deliver against client briefs
» Be responsible for the delivery of actions against set deadlines
» Support event partnership, activation and execution as required
» Understand and manage account finances, resourcing and profitability
» Be proactive and innovative in you approach to client services
» Assist with the implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures for Hunt & Gather
» Generate new business leads
Your skills & experience
» 6-8 years of communications experience, including time spent in an agency
» Experience working with high profile corporate companies with additional experience in the media and/or tech industries preferred
» Strong, senior media relationships
» A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in PR, marketing or a relevant arts and humanities subject » Strong interpersonal, organizational and management skills
» Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to execute on the big picture » Ability to work quickly and exhibit strong judgment
» The ideal candidate will be dynamic, resourceful and polished, with outstanding media relationships and the highest standards for client service.
» The candidate will have demonstrated experience working on high profile PR campaigns, successfully implementing initiatives, and collaborating effectively with colleagues
