Your role 

You will be responsible for driving proactive marketing and communications programs for Hunt &  Gather clients with a focus on public relations campaigns, marketing initiatives, and brand positioning.  You will also form part of the leadership team at Hunt & Gather and be responsible for driving  business initiatives and take responsibility for business performance.  

Your responsibilities 

» Provide a hands-on leadership approach to oversee client account work 

» Develop, manage and execute communications and marketing strategies, including media relations, influencer relations, brand partnerships and executive positioning 

» Lead campaign ideation, activation and execution 

» Work closely on the creation of narrative and messaging materials that reflect goals, priorities, values and brand 

» Be proactive, honest and innovative in your approach to client services 

» Provide mentorship and development for team members and assist with recruiting and staffing » Help to conceive of new best practices and standard operating procedures for Hunt & Gather » Work within the leadership group to oversee budgets and monitor overall financial results » Be responsible for organic growth on key clients 

» Generate new business leads 

» Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts across the business, media and marketing worlds 

» Understanding and input on overall business modelling 

Your skills & experience 

» 12-15+ years of marketing and PR experience, including time spent in an agency setting managing a team 

» Proven track record delivering measurable PR results across print, online and broadcast 

» Established, deep-rooted relationships with reporters and influencers in New York and Los Angeles 

» Strong interpersonal, organizational and management skills 

» An ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment 

» Exceptional writing skills 

» Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to execute on the big picture 

» Ability to work quickly and exhibit strong judgment 

» Experience in the media and tech industries preferred 

» A bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing or a relevant arts and humanities subject
