Job Description
The Role
As Head of Business Tech, Americas, you are responsible for creating and driving strategic transformation efforts through technology across our newly created Americas Business Tech team. Working with our Global Business Tech organization and Executive Leadership for the Americas Region, you will create a local strategy that allows technology to support and enable H&M Group’s short and long-term organizational goals across 8 different countries. You will lead the group with strong vision, direction and inspiration, driving technology as an enabler for H&M Group’s journey and ensuring this is executed throughout the Americas Region. We are looking for an influential, trusted, hands-on, innovative technology leader that will inspire our colleagues and drive strategic business decisions for the group.
The scope includes, but is not limited:
In partnership with Americas Executive Team and Global Team, develop a localized technology strategy that supports and enables H&M’s Groups business goals to be achieved across the Americas Region.
Create actionable plans that allow Business Tech’s strategy and vision to transform into local operations with market-specific priorities that drive results.
Provide visionary, hands-on leadership for the America’s team,
Build and maintain a high-performing team of tech professionals through attracting top talent and providing development opportunities that build customer-centricity, business acumen and technology skills.
Ensure market relevancy, implementation, engagement and follow-up on all tech related business development initiatives within the Americas Region.
Responsible and accountable for the achievement of the targeted effects and aspired results of all tech initiatives within the countries by efficient operations.
Lead development and evolution of Business Tech within the Americas Region by fostering strong identity and culture across teams.

Qualifications
Your Profile
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technology related field
7+ years of senior leadership experience in technology
Experience creating and communicating vision across an organization
Experience building and cultivating new teams and business initiatives
Experience working in an international, matrix organization with several stakeholders and seniority levels
Strong ability to collaborate with senior leadership in a diverse environment
Proven track record of influencing Senior Leadership and coaching teams
Strategic planning and long-term vision, while also being comfortable with hands-on work
