JOB SUMMARY
The Account Executive’s primary responsibility is to drive RTW category objectives from a Financial and Brand standpoint. To include building assortments and partnerships with wholesalers ranging from Nordstrom to Saks.
JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting & Analytics
Responsible for updating RTW Weekly Selling (Topline & By Doors), as well as any ad hoc reports required
Present in Weekly Selling Meeting, highlighting trends in our business (major drivers), defines and actions on opportunities to course correct/capitalize on sales, and secures competitive insights
Ensure accurate uploading of sales data to Skypad, validate and rectify all data discrepancies
Market (4x per year RTW)
Pull & compile hindsight data on reques
Attend Line Presentation, create line sheet materials as needed, actively participate in assortment building/look creating session
Present collection to accounts managed and lead walk thrus as required, building assortments that support strategies and elevate the brand
Create by account visual merchandising guide for accounts managed
Order Management - Market
Point person for RTW order entry process, enter orders for accounts managed at market as well as re-order stock and work with Customer Service to rectify and make all adjustments to orders through entire product timeline.
Communicate discrepancies / rectifications directly with accounts
Secure replenishment orders/projections by account at time of market
Manage Off Price end-to-end, from developing relationships with partners, creating offers to following through on shipment
Order Management – Day-to-Day
Review EDI report daily for accounts managed, work with CS/accounts directly in rectifying order issues
Update Shipping Log (2x a month - Wk 1 & Wk 3), escalate issues around late deliveries and secure extensions as appropriate
Monitor selling for re-order and chase opportunities, maximize replenishment of core programs by account
Financial Planning - Monthly
Responsible for RTW and Off Price monthly re-forecasts for accounts managed, support in plan building as necessary
Update Market Bookings Log for accounts managed post-market
Analyze OTB from accounts monthly (as available) and review with Director
Cross-Functional Partnership
Build strong working relationship with immediate team, develop effective internal cross-functional relationships (Merchandising, Production, Marketing, Field, Customer Service)
Partner with Merch on RTW Line Planning needs; i.e. delivery timing/assortment size & needs
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
3-5 years of wholesale experience in the fashion industry (buying/planning necessary if no wholesale
Strong command of Excel functions, formulas, v-look up/pivot tables, Retail Math/understanding of OTB
Strong styling skills and fashion sense
