JOB SUMMARY
This is a opportunity for a technical candidate to participate in a greenfield deployment of the latest SAP tools into the Tory Burch landscape along with our overall program to migrate AFS to S4/Fashion
The Principal analyst of BW4HANA will be responsible for managing a vendor-led transformation of our existing data warehouse to BW4HANA. This person will work with subject matter experts on the team to drive and deliver the end to end solution on BW4HANA in the upcoming year and then own the delivery of continuous improvements and enhancements on the platform.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Subject matter expertise on BW4H:
• Experience in driving architecture and design for end-to-end global implementations of SAP BW/ECC with responsibility for Reporting and Analytics streams.
• Expertise in S4HANA reporting artifacts such as CDS views, Fiori Apps, Eclipse Studio
• Expertise in Enterprise HANA artifacts such as HANA Studio, Calc Views
• Experience with SAP SLT and Data Replication
• Functions as the design authority for how BW4HANA is implemented, in support of overall transformation program
Vendor Management
• Works with the offshore vendor to manage delivery against predetermined sprints defined during the design phase
• Manages partnerships with internal teams (Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications) to drive interdependencies and reduce risks
• Manages scope and quality of deliverables from offshore vendors
• Tests and validates releasesTesting
• Drives end to end testing and signoff on sprintsPerformance and Load Testing
• Participates in performance and load testing of the platform, including loads from reporting users, extraction and load of data and replication into Hadoop for Customer AnalyticsData Visualization
• Works with the information delivery team to build out target information delivery architecture across SAP Analytics Hub, Fiori, CAR, SAC, MicroStrategy and Tableau
• Works with the MicroStrategy team to develop target projects within the platform for backward compatibility to existing reports and subscriptionsOperational Excellence
• Work with the vendor to build a reliable and robust batch cycle and replication paradigm across SAP and non-SAP systems
• Work with the offshore production team to organize handoff and onboarding in preparation for cutover
• Participate in cutover activities at the time of releaseREQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• 9+ years of experience with SAP BW
• Strong understanding of Retail and Fashion business processes and KPIs.
• At least 2 complete lifecycles of delivery on HANA
• Deep knowledge of retail data within the context of SAP (MM, BD, etc.)
• 7+ years of data management experience in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment.
• Experience in Business Intelligence and data warehousing development techniques
• Excellent analytical, solution engineering, and communication skills
• Experience with HANA Studio development environmentPREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with MicroStrategy, SAC or equivalent data visualization and business intelligence tools
