  • JOB SUMMARY

    The Video Editor is responsible for supporting social media video content with edits that will range from social interviews to campaign videos. This role reports the Sr. Designer, Graphic Design and Video, and interacts with the Photography and Social Media Team to help drive the Tory Burch social footprint. The Video Editor will have a strong familiarity with our social content, a passion for video and an understanding of social media platforms, trends and tactics. The Video Editor will have a strong desire to learn new skills and explore different forms of media.


     

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support and collaborate with our in-house videographer, photographers, and creative team for video editing needs.

    • Ingest, organize, and prep raw files for the post-production process.

    • Convert and compress video files as needed.

    • Assist our in-house videographer during video shoots.

    • Collaborate with our wider team to translate abstract ideas into clear, finished videos.

    • Participate in pre-production planning for shoots to establish storyboards and shot lists.

    • Color correct and edit audio on video projects.

    • Create and apply graphics to videos.

    EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED

    • 1 to 2 years experience in video editing or similar roles

    • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects and Photoshop are a plus)

    • Keen understanding of video codecs and file types

    • Strong visual mindset and understanding of the wider landscape of fashion video.

    • Strong communication skills and ability to take creative direction and bring it to life through video editing.

    • Knowledge of current video trends and internet culture.

    • Associates/Bachelors degree in Film, Communications, or other relevant fields
