JOB SUMMARY
The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for preventing property loss and protecting the safety of the distribution center associates and visitors.
JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Loss Prevention company’s loss prevention initiatives to control shrinkage and meet company’s shortage goals
Develop standards for security operations in conjunction with corporate Loss Prevention and building leadership
Conduct thorough investigations of theft-related issues, as well as any issues, which may negatively affect the company brand (policy violations, inventory loss)
Provide weekly and monthly report to LP Manager concerning investigations compliance reporting along with any recommendation to improve LP and procedures
Responds to alarm calls after hours
Opening the off-site building support events and emergencies, which may include scheduling security coverage
Manage access for all visitors to both the office and the warehouse.
Management and oversight of 3rd party security company
Management and oversight of access control and CCTV systems.
Liaise with building leadership on all relevant issues
Conduct internal investigations in support of corporate Loss Prevention direction
Assist Health/Safety role in identifying areas of concern and conducting audits
Assist with auditing inbound/outbound freight to ensure accuracy
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
High school diploma required / Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
5-8 years of experience (related in a retail setting)
Experience and knowledge of current security technology such as CCTV and Alarm System/ Wicklander Certification preferred
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Strong time management, organizational, planning and self-motivation skills
Basic proficiency in security technology (e.g., Microsoft Office products, basic CCTV and Access Control system usage, etc.)
The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
Train and orient new associates in LP culture
Analyze data conducts audits and identify trends to create actionable plans to mitigate risk
Develop projects while continuously improving physical security, processes, standards, training, and policies for future growth,
