Hollister Co. is a lifestyle brand relentlessly focused on authentically connecting with its core demographic, Gen Z, and the global high school teen. We are actively seeking a driven, creative, and strategic candidate to fill the role of Brand Marketing Strategy Manager to drive growth in Hollister by focusing on the organization’s key growth initiatives for 2021 and beyond. The Brand Strategist will be a key component to driving success, and quarterbacking total strategy to bring the portfolio of growth business units to life. This role is the driver of strategic planning, execution, and hindsight for each season across all marketing initiatives, and will help manage a large portion of the cross-functional collaboration for the projects in total. We’re interested in candidates who understand and immerse themselves in youth culture, and understand Gen Z. Additionally, candidates should be highly skilled at forming and managing internal external high-profile relationships, generating creative and strategic ideas in the whitespace, and excel at bringing the best out in others.
What Will You Be Doing?
Accountable for the planning of annual and seasonal brand strategies and campaigns
Develop customer-first strategies that resonate with the core demographic, focused on full customer experience across the brand channels
Lead and influence growth initiative teams in matrixed and virtual organization to drive brand success
Run regular campaign check-ins for cross-functional teams and external partners
Analyze marketing trends, consumer mindset, and competitive data for seasonal campaign preparation
Communicate changes to marketing calendars and messaging to cross-functional groups
Responsible for tracking and managing campaign budgets
Measure, analyze and report seasonal campaign metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional and external partners
Partner with product and merchandising teams to develop seasonal product and content strategies
Partner with creative teams to develop direction, shot lists, and creative requirements for channel support
Put the customer at the center of everything we do - Partner with Customer Insights team to shape research and identify key insights and drive their integration into campaigns
Develop ideas for longer term strategies and growth that helps achieve long range plans
What Do You Need To Bring?
Bachelor’s degree required
7+ years of marketing experience with a brand or agency, emphasis on digital and/or brand strategy
A digital-first mindset, with experience in developing wholistic campaigns across multiple marketing channels; social, influencer, media, etc.
Ability to balance multiple workstreams and prioritization
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to make quick decisions
Highly motivated and collaborative with a willingness to learn
Strategic, analytic and structured thinking ability
Deep knowledge of youth culture, fashion retail customer demographics, preferably Gen Z
Strong work ethic with the ability to multitask and deal with accelerated deadlines and shifting deliverable
Must be a team player who is open to receiving and executing feedback
