JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Site Experience will work cross functionally to manage the mainline product merchandising (Tory Burch) and content experience across the US and our 5 EU sites. This candidate will lead the execution of site refreshes and daily optimization of the site experience for the Tory Burch consumer. In addition to managing the US and EU sites, this role will also be a key liaison to our ecommerce sites in China, the Middle East and Japan – separate teams in country manage these sites, but this role will be responsible for keeping those teams informed of best practices and giving guidance as-needed. This individual will also be key to maximizing all new site features we launch in partnership with our product team- both weighing in on product feature development, and ensuring new features are launched, maintained and driving growth of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading team on all site merchandising tasks, product set-up and site curation, search tuning, filter attribution, ensuring refreshes go live as planned, following our best practices
Regular Maintenance & communication of Site Experience Best Practices guide, Playbooks, How—Tos, and creation of monthly site refresh Strategy decks
Play a lead role developing Seasonal and Monthly briefs for Site Experience
Featured Shops – review performance, cut underperforming (or make hidden) & supply briefs for new shops that are important for the season
Make adjustments to navigation to support seasonal changes & product assortment
Develop plan for badging, pair it with, filters, cross-sells and other key merchandising tactics for each delivery
Responsible for executing promotions and events, including markdowns, and maintaining our global exclusions lists and employee discounting events – QA of these items launching successfully is also a core component of the role, so confirming to larger site team when we push live successfully is required
Weekly read-outs on site performance, funnel behavior, top performing shops and search insights from google analytics
Main point of contact for CRM kick-offs relating to early access product launches & GWPs
Being a resource to our ecommerce teams in China, Japan and the Middle East– helping answer merchandising questions and passing along our best practices and how-tos as we continue to build them out for US
Owning the default image MPP selections and execution in coordination with Creative
SKILLSET
5-6 years of experience working in ecommerce management (retail a plus), with a close focus on content and site merchandising
A demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction and successfully execute plans to drive business performance
Specific Site Merchandising experience should include loading product catalogs, assigning product attributes, badges, managing filters, site search, building seasonal shops & merch strategies, adjusting image displays and aligning product to content
Experience managing Promotions and Events is also essential – both promotion set-up and customer facing site experiences
Website platform experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud AND Adobe Experience Manager strongly preferred
Experience with AB and multivariate testing preferred
Experience managing team members
Proficiency required in:
Analytics Tools: Google Analytics – high level of comfort required, will be responsible for pulling reporting and making actionable business headlines from it
Project management tools: Jira & Confluence
UX Design Collaboration tools: InVision
Microsoft Office tools: Advanced Excel, Powerpoint
