Fossil is currently searching for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join our global brand marketing team for Fossil’s portfolio of licensed brands. The role’s primary purpose will be to plan and deliver multi-channel marketing programs that support Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, Kate Spade New York, Tory Burch and DKNY in achieving top global and regional performance with a focus on wholesale and retail channels.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, collaborative individual and decision maker. The candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively across a cross-functional team to include other departments such as regional teams and creative services. Some essential responsibilities for this Senior Marketing Specialist include:
Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with licensor in order to coordinate integrated marketing plans and influence the licensor to support the category on their owned and operated channels
Collaborate in building global strategic marketing briefs/plans for the Americas, APAC and EMEA regions
Partner with internal Brand Management team to align on business and marketing objectives and strategies
Collaborate with regional marketing leads to facilitate approval process of seasonal plans
Own the marketing plan submission process between regions and licensor and make sure process is streamlined for internal and licensor efficiencies
Manage the approval process for tactics that require licensor submission
Manage team calendars, templates, and deliverables to ensure marketing assets are delivered on-time and with excellence
Open jobs in project management system, assign tasks and ensure timely delivery
Quality control and optimization of regional marketing executions, including in store POS, roadshows, and events through retail and wholesale efforts
Who You Are:
5+ years experience in marketing, brand management or strategy roles
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline; MBA a plus
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Solid communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
Ability to multi-task and to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Relevant and current knowledge of the industry, market trends and strategies
Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail
PR experience is a plus
