JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Copywriter is responsible for pushing the Tory Sport brand forward through smart, engaging copy and rich storytelling that inspires and informs the customer across all digital and print touchpoints. Through close collaboration with design and business partners, you will translate broad creative ideas into tight concepts and executions. The ideal candidate will be able to connect stories and messages to the larger world of fashion and key seasonal trends — while always remaining true to the voice and vision of Tory Burch.
JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES
Write and edit copy for Tory Sport site, emails, digital marketing, print and social
Work with the creative team to synthesize briefs into strategic creative concepts that drive the business each season
Deliver strong headlines, decks and product positioning that tell a strong story
Work with EU and APAC partners to leverage and rework copy for international markets when necessary
Oversee and top-edit all product descriptions, ensuring that copy is sharp, and details are clear, compelling and concise
Grammar and voice police: relentlessly review all copy and creative, checking for sense, spelling, syntax and tone
Manage feedback from creative reviews, update and pivot based on business needs, and track changes for future presentations
Participate in seasonal planning meetings, weekly marketing/production/merchandising touch-bases, creative reviews and content meetings
Work on and drive site enhancements that improve the customer experience; initiate subject line testing and analyze customer data, using results to inform creative and UX decisions
Provide support on special projects and initiatives across channels (e.g., fashion show, special product launches, etc.)
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 7 years of experience creating and honing brand voice, with a deep knowledge of luxury fashion, style and culture
Strong digital fluency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Keynote and user-friendly content management systems
