Brand Designer
POSITION TITLE: Brand Designer
REPORTING TO: VP of Creative
OVERVIEW: HATCH is an innovative maternity brand of thoughtfully designed solutions in
apparel and mama-safe skincare for before, during and after pregnancy.
We’re seeking a Brand Designer to join our talented and growing in-house Creative team. This
person must be hard-working, passionate, innovative, organized and creative. The ideal
candidate will be a self-starter — someone who is going to help define and grow our brand for
years to come, have a natural love and passion for creative work, be able to express story and
emotion through a range of omni channel assets. This person will collaborate on consistent
brand vision throughout online ecommerce creative, emails, out of home, events, product
packaging, and print & digital advertising.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Lead evergreen and launch specific brand touch points including emails, digital paid
ads, printed collateral, events, organic social, out of home, packaging, and more.
● Have strong understanding and passion for video content - both at an inspiration level
as well as executional.
● Design 360 channel assets for day-to-day marketing communications
● Work cross-functionally to brainstorm new creative campaigns, and guide ideas from
concept to completion with a strong design sensibility
● Have a keen eye for detail - in typography, imagery and overall consistency throughout
campaign touchpoints.
● Work with the entire Creative, Digital and Brand Marketing team to evolve the visual
brand, understanding the value of design patterns and helping to build and maintain a
cohesive visual language
● Regularly update site content and graphics to improve user experience; identify and
evaluate improvement options.
● Help set, evolve, and maintain our brand book and toolkits
● Roll out treatment to all relevant customer touchpoints and channels with consistency
across all media outputs (video, ads, email, site, etc)
● Partner with Director of Creative Operations on design deadlines and deliverables

REQUIREMENTS:
● Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
● 5+ years of experience in brand design, specifically in-house at a brand
● Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
● A desire to review work, mentor others, and co-create with partners from different
background and expertises.
● Strong interest in fashion and/or beauty.
● Strong understanding of multimedia content development, social media platforms,
graphic layout, and design
● High attention to detail and strong organization skills
● A commitment to high-quality work and to positive and productive relationships with all
— team members, peers, managers, etc.
● High proficiency in the latest Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator
and InDesign).
● Ability to create GIF and MP4 animations.
● A diverse portfolio that exhibits excellent use of typography, color, imagery, video and
graphic elements.
● Experience with art direction and/or motion graphics and working in Figma is a plus
