COORDINATOR, CORPORATE & ASSOCIATE COMMUNICATIONS - TOMMY HILFIGER

The Coordinator, Corporate & Associate Communications is responsible for supporting with the day-to-day management and execution of communications strategies, programs and activities for the North America and Latin America regions. This includes corporate, executive and associate communications, Corporate Responsibility and crisis communications. The ideal candidate will have strong corporate copywriting and communications skills, and experience developing executive and brand presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Create impactful copy for corporate communications, including Q&As, press releases, speeches, interview talking points, and other corporate messaging, that demonstrates strong storytelling and an understanding of the brand voice

  • Plan and produce content for internal communications channels with a focus on driving associate readership and engagement

  • Deploy internal communications memos and newsletters for Americas

  • Support with Project Management, including proposals, project summaries, timelines, and budgets

  • Develop briefs for the Creative Studio for creative assets and presentations

  • Daily monitoring and clipping of all brand mentions in the press including news-related items, editorial features, photos and videos

  • Coordinating brand photo/video shoots on a regular basis, along with post shoot production

  • Strong knowledge of all global brand assets – written and visual, to manage and facilitate usage requests

  • Create event recaps and reports for all brand initiatives including fashion shows, business announcements, and brand events

  • Monitoring press for crisis-related news and proactively communicating coverage to the team

  • Communicate with Global Communications team in Amsterdam as needed for day-to-day tasks, seasonal/annual initiatives, and one-off special projects

  • Invoice management for Communications projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications

  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in fashion or in relevant functions

  • Strong copywriting, editing and communications skills

  • Strengths in analyzing and summarizing high volumes of information

  • Strong networking capabilities to develop working relationships across the organizations that are needed to complete key tasks and projects

  • Pro-active and hands-on

  • Open minded and resourceful

  • Strong aesthetic eye and taste level; strict attention to detail

  • Team player

  • Responsive and service minded

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines

  • Creative thinker who effectively collaborates with respective teams in Amsterdam and New York

  • Must be able to find the best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency

  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects
