Sr. Systems Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
The position is responsible for the realization and day-to-day operations of Systems, Data Center functions and support platforms of the Tory Burch global environment. These services include, but are not restricted to: Performance engineering and monitoring, operating system management, escalating application performance issues, securing systems environment, establishing and testing disaster recovery, completing backups, systems upgrades, interfacing with cloud and managed services, Windows and VMWare and Linux operating systems along with Hardware life cycle. The role acts subject matter expert for systems infrastructure, cloud hosting technologies, and systems located in data center and global office locations. The position collaborates heavily with architecture, third party providers, international operations and service delivery teams as well as the applications teams. The position works together with operations manager on the health of all systems services and equipment to ensure high performance access and availability to business applications and services. This role will focus on backend systems (server) environment and cloud hosting with a strong service-oriented culture.
The person in this role must have deep and sound technical capabilities across systems and cloud disciplines. This person must have a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Office365, Google Cloud Platforms, Active Directory, Microsoft Operating Systems, VMWare or other related platforms and experience with execution along with troubleshooting and systems operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement, configure, analyze, and support the company's internal and external intel systems which include Software as a Service (SaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
Provides subject matter expertise for IT Project and initiatives
Creates and uphold standard operating procedures and create documentation
Responsible for system engineering design, implementation and delivery
Member of team responsible for the support of local and global infrastructure
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, and system problems. Coordinates and supports incident management with vendors for remediation of systems outages and equipment failures. Provides real time escalation response for support issues.
Establishes system specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security
Monitoring, troubleshooting and problem
Hardware and software upgrades and updates
Providing support and assisting other groups in problem resolution
Implement, maintaining, and reporting on security standards across the Enterprise Server, and Desktop infrastructure.
Ensure appropriate capacity and performance planning for systems to maintain and accelerate global business growth
Deliver reporting on SLA achievement
Develop and publish metrics for operational, planning, and forecasting purposes
Secures system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.
Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support.
Member of a high-quality Systems Team
24 X 7 network systems support including onsite and remote management

7+ years’ Experience in IT Systems Management and Delivery
7+ years’ Experience in VMWare, Microsoft Azure, Office365, Google Cloud Platform, Citrix Netscaler, Citrix Studio, Active Directory, ADFS, CommVault, Expert - Window OS, Linux OS, SCCM, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, SolarWinds, NetApp, CyberArk, Basic LAN Knowledge
Experience in managing multiple projects and support functions
Bachelor Degree in Business or Technical Discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
