JOB SUMMARY
An Assistant Producer would provide admin support on day-to-day basis but also support editorials during pre-production and postproduction. Most importantly, this role would learn/support the on-model production process for both Tory Burch and Tory Sport.
JOB DESCRIPTION
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
The Production Assistant supports the end-to-end production of ecommerce and editorial photography. This will include organizing and partnering with cross functional partners for samples, researching and updating library of models, photographers and stylists, attending shoots and style outs and facilitating the postproduction process.
PRE PRODUCTION
Manage library & database of models, approved talent, external freelancers
Create model decks and presentations as needed
Build out calendars and postproduction schedules as needed
Assist in distributing shot lists, call sheets, and project plans to respective teams
Coordinate with Sample Ops each shoot to confirm sample readiness via merch reviews and ensure products are on set for scheduled style outs and shoots
Work with internal and external teams to coordinate and book fittings or castings
Assign metadata for on model imagery- “Styled With”
POST PRODUCTION
Update asset management system with final imagery, usage and talent metadata
Maintain database of fully executed contracts and releases
Facilitate reviews within internal team and external retouching partners.
Resolve any call outs by site merchandisers
Process any revisions and assigning priorities
Closely monitor deadlines and site refreshes to adjust priorities as needed
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Able to work and collaborate with varying teams and personalities
Steller interpersonal and communication skills
Assist with ad hoc special projects as needed
Strong sense of time management, prioritization, and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Stay ahead of and identify potential issues to determine best solutions.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel); comfortable with tools in an online environment
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
1-2 years of production/coordination experience required
Experience on photo shoot sets preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams); comfortable with tools in an online environment
Fundamental knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Bridge, Photoshop) preferred
Experience with Airtable, Global Edit is a plus
Excellent interpersonal communication skills; experience working with high-profile clientele strongly preferred
Self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented and can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
