The Raw Materials team at Everlane is responsible for sourcing all fabrics, trim and components that make up the Everlane product. We are a highly curious team, with a tactile love of high quality materials. Building partnerships with industry leaders and innovators both in materials and sustainability, and executing developments to bring these collaborations to market in a brand appropriate aesthetic is our passion. We work on multiple seasons at a time, and facilitate best in class materials from initial concept to bulk adoption.

The Raw Materials Coordinator will play a support role in innovation, sustainable sourcing, research, and seasonal tool management. This role will include supporting the team on tool implementation and management, fabric archiving and library organization, seasonal data integrity and support in sourcing and development, research, trend presentation. You will work closely with the raw material team, business systems, product development, and QA, and will report directly to our Material Sourcing Lead.

HQ: This is a full-time role based at our San Francisco office headquarters in the Mission neighborhood. 

Your day-to-day:

  • Manage seasonal tool (WFX and MDD) data integrity

  • Issue and track sample yardage purchase orders with mills and factories

  • Maintain organization in our physical and digital materials library

  • Support the materials team in creating and building strong relationships with mills and external partners

  • Support the materials team in seasonal sourcing by organizing, requesting fabric information, and cutting and sending swatches

  • Research and support sustainability opportunity for materials to support brand sustainability goals

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, QA to facilitate product-first mentality

  • Support RM Database and Key Sustainability Metrics for all categories

  • Aid in process documentation for the RM Department

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 1+ years of experience

  • Creative thinker, detail oriented, proactive, strong analytical and data skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work-flows simultaneously with Manager’s guidance

  • Strong verbal and written skills

  • Strong communication, ability to build and support cross-functional partnership

  • Comfortable working in systems and variety of software - Excel, Airtable, PLM, Google
