  The Designer, will assist in creating and ensuring a high quality, on-brand shopping experience for the Tory Burch customer in our markets. In this role you will develop and scale new online experiences for our key marketing messages and shopping experiences with a focus on mobile
  As a UX Designer you must inspire and inform the customer as well as the internal team. You will enhance our digital experiences, develop new interaction models and ensure the best possible responsive experience across all devices.

  PRODUCT

  • Design new site features and enhancements to support business and creative brand needs for our global eCommerce experience

  • Improve user experience gaps throughout our digital properties for seasonal messaging

  • Create design solutions that are customer centric and that can adapt/scale for global audience needs

  • Document and deliver detailed responsive design templates and specifications

  • Collaborate closely with product managers and technology partners for implementation

  • Review developer builds/demos and conduct UAT to ensure quality and accuracy

  • Align with the creative teams to ensure consistent branding and merchandising

  • Lead design presentations and be responsible for approvals and project timelines

  • Help create, maintain and adhere to digital design guidelines

  • Research regional best practices and develop UX recommendations

  • Create UX flows, wireframes and animations/prototypes as needed to support development

  EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Graphic Design or similar preferred)

  • Mac O/S

  • 3-5 years professional experience (E-commerce and/or digital product)

  • Proficiency with Sketch and InVision

  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe CS: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

  • After Effects, and/or motion graphics knowledge preferred

  • Animation and/or prototyping skills to demonstrate flows and interaction

  DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

  • E-commerce expert – deep desire to understand and improve shopping behaviours online

  • Online fluency (websites, blogs, desktop to mobile) and the curiosity to learn more

  • Knowledge of trends and best-practices in the design landscape

  • Strong communication skills and collaborative personality

  • Highly organized, with meticulous attention to details and deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task, adapt and change course easily

  • Flexibility to balance editorial and business needs

  • Self-motivated, resourceful and works with a positive attitude
