Junior Photography Producer

Title: Junior Photography Producer

Location: New York

Job Type: Full Time

Reports To: Head of Production & Managing Director

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Placing options for talent + crew (model, hair, and makeup, set designers, etc.) for shoots

• Holding / confirming assistants 

• Liaise between a variety of vendors including outside production companies, catering, location vehicles, equipment houses, casting, location scouts, etc.,

• Maintaining artist calendars with up-to-date production details

• Organizing travel and transportation (cars, flights, hotel)

• Management of couriers and messengers

• Wrapping jobs + accounting and admin responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1-2 experience in fashion or photo industry, preferably in a photo agency, production co or magazine/editorial

• Relations with model agencies, hair, makeup agencies, freelance producers preferred 

• Must be extremely organized and schedule oriented

• Working knowledge of Photoshop + Excel

• Strong interest in photography + moving image

• Excellent communication skills and an ability work well with others 

• Must be able to work well under pressure, problem solve, and work with tight deadlines
