Production Assistant
We are a growing e-commerce fashion brand that creates menswear-inspired apparel fit for a range of female and non-binary bodies. We are based in Brooklyn and are looking for someone who is passionate about helping build and grow an e-commerce brand.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of production assistance experience.
• Strong computer skills (MSWord, Excel). Bonus: familiar with Adobe Suite
• Outstanding interpersonal/customer service and communication skills.
• Strong analytical problem solving with ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with manager to create purchase orders, create shipments of goods, and help facilitate the overall successful production of goods both in our domestic and international factories • Communicate with vendors about samples, production runs and bulk deliveries
• Create Tech Packs
• Order and track trims, fabrics, samples
• Ability to maintain individual task list, and be an independent worker
• Handling daily administrative tasks
• Prepare packages to be shipped overseas and help manage/track the incoming packages • Stay up to date on new products and company news by attending meetings and following outward communications
• Establish positive relationships within our small group of team members.
• Growth opportunities depending on experience and interest.
• Manage domestic and international quality control
• Attend and assist with meetings with our patternmakers
• Assist with domestic quality control in our USA factory, QC on overseas production in our office • Potential to travel overseas to our factories (currently not applicable due to Covid)
Schedule:
• Part time with the possibility to become full time
