JOB SUMMARY
This person will support the Senior Art Director in creating innovative site experiences for e-commerce by developing content and merchandising strategies centered around seasonal product messaging and marketing initiatives. This position will collaborate across digital channels (Site, Merchandising, Editorial, Styling and UX teams) to develop brand content, aesthetic guidelines and set the merchandising tone for monthly e-commerce launches. This person will ensure alignment with all digital and marketing content from a customer journey lens (emails, digital ads, social, hp, etc) and be able to bring storytelling to life.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
Be inspired by Tory’s collections to create an immersive and visually compelling digital content with rich storytelling
Responsible for concepting and generating on-brand layouts that enhance the flow of product and content by working with the Senior Director of Art, Editorial, Styling, Site Merchandisers, UX, and business partners
Oversees execution of monthly site launches for global e-commerce platforms (US, China, APAC, Europe, Japan, Korea and Middle East)
Review monthly product launches and direct/advise site merchandising team on standards, content and aesthetics to align on concept and cohesiveness for each initiative
Ensure alignment with Web and Marketing on creative content and product messaging for global initiatives
Must have thorough knowledge of each season’s collection, monthly product deliveries, and assortments by tier
Must be able to creative problem-solve and react quickly to address business concerns and be resourceful when working within budgetary constraints
Collaborate in a creative environment with other members of the team to achieve results
Work within a fast-paced environment in order to meet tight deadlines while ensuring that all directives and communications are accurate, clear, concise, and consistent with brand standards
Education and Prior Experience:
At least 7 years of industry experience and Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong computer graphics and mockup skills (Keynote, Photoshop, InDesign)
Must have strong awareness of fashion and industry trends and an ability to bring most forward ideas to the table.
Must have portfolio demonstrating fashion styling and VM abilities.
Must have elevated taste level and experience working at a designer brand.
Must have experience compiling corporate merchandising directives.
Must have experience developing cross-functional partnerships
