Moda Operandi is seeking and Assistant Sales Manager to work alongside the Senior Sales Manager to create and execute sales strategies which deliver positive business results. This role will work hands-on with top Private Client Advisors to deliver an exceptional client experience to Moda’s elite Private Clients. The role will focus on the NY market, while maintaining a global mindset to propose initiatives which can be tailored across other regions.
Salary Range: $65,000 min to $125,000 max, based upon experience.
This is a fully remote NYC based position.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Lead, develop, coach, and motivate a high-performing team in a digital environment to meet sales performance expectations
Directly manage a team of Private Client Advisors. Reinforce a culture of collaboration and team excellence with an emphasis on delivering an exceptional client experience
Develop, forecast, and execute fiscal and strategic objectives to support and deliver business goals within your market; including sales productivity, client retention and growth, and P+L management
Set clear targets for your team and ensure accountability through fair & measured performance management
Source, recruit, and onboard top talent within the luxury industry
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
Participate in wider strategic initiatives, providing regular feedback to the Moda Private leadership team on recommendations to maximize business performance
Partner with the business development team to identify relevant events, experiences, and business partnerships to drive high-net-worth client acquisition within the market
Act as a key partner to the merchant and buying teams to support category, new designer launches and proactively gain insight and actions to share with the wider organization
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3-5 years of management experience within the luxury industry, with a keen understanding of luxury client attributes, needs and expectations required
Proven track record of building and scaling a sales team with hands-on leadership experience required
Outstanding networking, interpersonal skills, and ability to build and maintain relationships in all scopes of business required
Strategic, holistic thinker with a proven ability to drive action and change in a growing, start-up environment
Experience working within an ecommerce environment preferred
