JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Email Marketing will lead global efforts to convert, engage and retain customers through the email channel. Leading a team of marketers, the Director of Email marketing will partner cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class email marketing strategy. The candidate will be both data-driven and creative, can establish a strategic vision / roadmap, and execute with excellence.
JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leverage subscriber data and insights along with campaign results to develop customer-centric marketing strategies that will unlock greater channel productivity and customer engagement/LTV
Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, CRM, Loyalty, Site, Integrated Marketing, and Creative teams to identify opportunities to optimize audience segmentation and campaigns through iterative testing
Lead and inspire a high performing team to have a test and learn mentality and be customer-focused, innovative, fast-moving and results-oriented
Drive end to end process efficiency – briefing, planning, execution, hindsighting
Define, monitor and drive success at the program, campaign and segment levels; track effectiveness and clearly articulate optimizations
Ensure the integration of brand message and product focus in delivering customer-centric creative briefs to maximize engagement and conversion
Act as change agent for personalization / targeting and a customer-centric approach to email
Drive greater relevancy in the email channel through an increased mix of targeted campaigns and trigger emails
Partner with Product and IT Teams to ensure technology roadmap delivers on the ability to increase personalization and advanced targeting
Establish a global center of excellence dedicated to creating best practices and providing strategic support to the regions
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
10+ years of marketing experience within consumer brand, fashion/apparel, or marketing/consulting agency
Results-driven marketer with exceptional strategic and analytical skills
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Experience leading a team
Proven record of partnering cross functionally to drive topline growth
Proactively initiates changes to improve work processes and ability to work with ambiguity
Inclusive people leader with a track record of developing talent to drive impact
Excellent presentation, organization & communication skills
BA/BS required, MBA preferred
