FASHION COORDINATOR

BPCM is hiring a Fashion Coordinator for our New York office. We are seeking candidates who are highly organized self-starting individuals with a strong interest in fashion and culture and the ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment. This role will be working closely with fashion team on all logistics involving clients.
Our ideal candidates must have strong communication and writing skills, superb multi-tasking abilities and problem-solving abilities. They must be comfortable dealing with all levels of staff and clients. Having had previous PR/Marketing internships is preferred. This is an amazing opportunity to gain great experience and exposure into the world of PR.
The Senior Account Executive Responsibilities will be (but are not limited to):
Responsible for the day-to-day support of the team with daily activities, including but not limited to reporting, industry research, press clippings, and assisting PR teams on projects and requests as needed
Manage sample collections, inclusive of handling editorial and VIP loans and returns
Assist with general administrative tasks, such as coordinating messengers and shipments
Develop and manage relationships with editors and stylists by handling pulls for showroom requests
Coordinate seasonal press reviews
Manage deliveries and inventory of seasonal collections
Utilize Fashion GPS for trafficking samples
Manage International shipments and transfers of inventory
Coordinate with the LA and London offices regarding collections
Assist the team with monitoring and reporting on press coverage across clients
Remain knowledgeable and up to date on all client collections
Inventory all collections on arrival and ensure that inventory is replenished from returns on a daily basis
Required Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related field is ideal
Public relations or fashion industry internship or job experience
Knowledge of fashion & publishing
Exceptional at keeping things organized, able to multi-task and juggle priorities
Impeccable time management skills - managing your own time and the time of others
Strong oral & writing communication skills
Savvy social & interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
Computer experience required, including but not limited to MSWord, Excel, Outlook and Fashion GPS
